Our mission is to create an inclusive, accessible, and supportive community of horseback riders.
Horseback riding can be an exclusive sport and hobby, and at SSRC we work towards eliminating the barriers — including physical, mental, and financial — that prevent people from participating in riding and equine-related activities. We believe that anyone who has the desire to work with or ride horses, should have that opportunity. At SSRC, horses are for everyone.
SSRC is a unique model that offers both adaptive and traditional lessons, as well as financial assistance and volunteer opportunities to ensure maximum access to our programs and services. At SSRC, we are all riders and horse enthusiasts working towards our individual goals and enjoying a community centered around a shared love of horses.
